Sick and Tired. Literally.

I’m coming down with a cold.  I hardly ever get sick, so I can’t understand it.  It’s not as if I was out in the rain for hours recently, doing something physically taxing enough to suppress my immune system.

I am, in the words of those who know and love me, an idiot.

Unfortunately, I’m an idiot with a brief due on Thursday, and while I’d love to have gone to bed at 9pm this evening, instead it’s almost 2 in the morning and I’m just heading upstairs.

I am seriously getting too old for this shit.

  1. I’ve come down with a bugger of a summer cold too. Mine did not involve running in the rain, however. Since we are separated by some 2500 geographic miles, I don’t think they are related, but there’s something in the air these days, isn’t there? Hope you’re feeling better. I’m going to go lie down now.

  2. Sorry to hear you’re under the weather. I ended up dodging it, but my wife caught it instead.
