I’m 39 41 years old, and I live in Chicago with my wife, the Green Eyed Siren, and our two kids, ages 9 (Unfocused Girl) and 6 (Unfocused Junior). In addition to being a husband and father, I am also, in no particular order: a runner; an aspiring novelist; an income partner at a large, Chicago-based, international law firm; and an occasional blogger. You can email me at: unfocused AT theunfocusedlife DOT com.
I go into a little more detail about myself and why I started this blog in my first post. I give out a little more information in response to the “6 things” meme here.
You can read some of my fiction as I post it on my FICTION page.
The (very short) story behind the slogan “Always crazy (sometimes wrong)” is here.
I also hang out occasionally at the Absolute Write Water Cooler, and post my training log at Buckeye Outdoors, but can be found most often wasting small chunks of time on Twitter.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Much appreciated!
Many congratulations to you for finishing your first draft.
Much luck for your revisions! :)
Hello to you!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for your comment. I’m going to add your blog to my blogroll — your blog is wonderful!
I plan to stop by often. : )
I’m wishing you luck on your novels from another aspiring novelist in the trenches. I too frequent AW — I’m HorsebackWriter — be sure to say hey if you see me there.
Em : )
Great – thanks for coming by. I’m sure I’ll see you at the AW forums.
My solution for rejected sci-fi . . .
I was just starting to write an article on “Unfocused and Broke” and I googled your site.
Just writing this post shows how I struggle with being focused. I shouldn’t be writing this, damn it!
Have a super day, my unfocused Chicago friend.
2 hours north of you in Michigan
Thanks for stopping by, Stephen. Now, shouldn’t you be writing?
