My friends & I started this on accident over 2 yrs ago when I was trying to motivate my high school seniors to write their 5 page final. I told them if I can run a half marathon (I never ran prior) they have to do their final. Since then, I’ve been filming races and runs.

What made yesterday difficult was that I was running, filming AND tweeting. That was a challenge.

Each partner’s unwillingness to admit that they don’t wanna do it keeps both partners locked in. Not sure what my excuse was, except that having started blogging/tweeting about it, I couldn’t bring myself to say, “Oh, never mind, I didn’t know it was going to be cold.”

My feet finally feel normal, anyway. But I think I’m coming down with something.

Yes, the weather sucked. Jenn and I almost bailed on it ourselves. Actually, when we were getting out of the car she told me that if I said I wasn’t going she was going to stay home too. Oh well, it’s a story to tell the grandkids.
